Hindi Porke’t Nasa America Ako Mayaman na Ako!!!

Why is it that if our relatives and friends know you are in the USA or abroad, they will always try to ask something from you like Iphone, Ipad, computer etc etc or they make up lies so that you will send them money? Like, someone is in the hospital, that turned out to be a boyfriend and not really her who is sick, someone have cancer or need surgery for gallbladder stone removal? Kung ano-ano na lang that sometimes, one would get really really doubtful if the relative or friend is really in dire need.
Isn’t this sad? What do they think of us people in America, especially we Pinoys who are also earning just enough or barely enough to get by? It doesn’t mean that we are in America we are already filthy rich. We are also trying to live here, if not for the credit card to help us get by, income especially during this recession, is not enough to cover all our expenses.
I can’t even afford to buy Iphone or Ipad and yet someone is asking for one. I can’t even send money regularly to my Mom and yet, they think we are so well-off. Maybe if me and my husband can have two jobs and work ourselves to death, yes I will have so much extra money I guess but right now, I cannot do that as I have a young son to take care of.
I find it so sad and I thought i’d share it with you.
