Marimar of GMA7
Hey, did you know that most Filipinos in the USA also watch Marimar of GMA7 ? My cousin and her husband from Arizona came to California this week to visit his relatives in Daly City and she was surprised that all of them were watching the show, even the males in their household. And when she came over to our place, I was also watching it. My coworker Minda also watches it and if she missed it, she’d ask me what was the latest episode, what had happened to Marimar.
Marimar has gotten all of us hooked.
I love watching this show, rather than watch the ridiculous Kokey of ABS-CBN or Judy-Ann’s Ysabella. But sometimes I miss Marimar due to the fact that my husband sometimes watches Cops in the living room TV then my two-year old watches PBS Sprouts on the other TV, just when it’s time for my Marimar. I think these two guys here are in cahoots with each other so that poor Mommy won’t be able to see Marimar. It was a good thing that every Saturday, GMA7 thru Comcast runs a Marimar marathon, all episodes that were shown for the whole week are shown again back to back to back.
Even when I missed the Marimar Marathon during Saturdays, there’s YouTube to go to and my, they almost have the complete series of Marimar. By the way, kudos to all these people who patiently upload the Marimar series to Youtube ! Thanks to you brothers and sisters. Many thanks most especially to Tribalengel who’s my favorite Marimar uploader.
Waahahah, Marimar, Marimar, lagi na lang bang si Marimar ???
P.S.
Before I forget, even if I like the series, sometimes there just are some scenes that could have been done better but I guess that’s the typical Filipino director at the helm. I just hope that in the future, directors will treat us like the intelligent viewers that we are.
