Babalik Ka Rin

Do you know the song ” Babalik ka Rin? It was sung by Gary Valenciano for overseas Filipino workers. I think it was used in a promo or something. Anyway, out of the blue, I remembered this song and went singing while googling for the video on Youtube.
I sang with this Gary V video for awhile but stopped when I found my voice cracking. I never knew that this song would have such an effect on me. Maybe it’s the lyrics… I feel homesick… I missed my family.. or maybe I just want to go back to that place I call home, the Philippines.
In my heart, I feel sad to be so far away from home, I wish it’s so easy to come back..
Babalik ako Pilipinas kong mahal. Babalik ako, di kita nakakalimutan lalo na ang mga kababayan kong naghihirap.
