Eversince I started posting my resume at an internet jobsite, I have received lots of spam mails in my inbox and I just find it so irritating. Some would be for jobs that you are not interested, some are from those lottery companies which I know do not exist, and some were from these individuals who have nothing else to do in life but to scam people. Do you know of that email which they send you which says something like a wealthy man had died and that he doesn’t have any relatives so they will just wire the money to your account? But of course it’s a scam. Whoever in his right mind would give you money that easily??? These people are so annoying. Sometimes I want to lash back at them but oh well, it’s not worth it at all.

The nuisances are not only with my email but also in my mobile phone. One time I answered the phone and the lady rattled on that I am a winner of this so and so and I had to stop her by saying that if this involves my paying them some money then I am not interested. Then there’s this sometimes when it will ring and you say “hello” and they dont’ even bother saying anything and then an automated voice will go off saying that you are calling this blah-blah-blah. Why can’t these people get some real jobs rather than pestering others on the phone? Well anyway, these days I no longer answer my phone. If it’s important like a job offer, I know they’d leave a message.

So think twice before you post your resume on the internet so you don’t end up with unwanted job offers, spam emails and nuisance phone calls.
